Channel Autopilot Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
The short version: Channel Autopilot is a private tool Easton McElvaine uses to publish videos to his own YouTube channel. It only touches that one channel, keeps its data on his own computer and his private dashboard, and never sells or shares it.
What Channel Autopilot is
Channel Autopilot is software that runs on Easton McElvaine’s own computer. It produces videos, uploads them to his YouTube channel, and reads that channel’s performance numbers so he can see how each video did. It isn’t offered to the public. It’s run by Easton McElvaine, doing business as Bluestone Web Studio, in Absecon, New Jersey.
Channel Autopilot uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s own handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Using Channel Autopilot is also covered by its Terms of Use; there’s an overview on the Channel Autopilot page.
What it accesses
When the channel owner signs in with Google, Channel Autopilot asks for permission to:
- Upload videos to the channel and set their thumbnails
- View the channel’s videos and their public numbers: views, likes and comment counts
- View the channel’s YouTube Analytics reports, such as watch time, average view duration and subscribers gained
It doesn’t read comments, messages, the identities of subscribers or viewers, payment details, or anything else in the Google account.
How the information is used
- To upload the channel’s own videos and Shorts, with their titles, descriptions and thumbnails
- To show the channel owner a private dashboard of how each video performs
None of it is used for advertising or to build profiles of anyone.
Where it’s stored and who sees it
The sign-in token Google issues is stored only on the channel owner’s computer. Video statistics are stored on that computer and in a private dashboard in the owner’s Claude account (provided by Anthropic), which only the owner can open.
We don’t sell this information, and we don’t share it with anyone, except when the law requires it.
Cookies
Channel Autopilot doesn’t use cookies or any tracking, and neither does this website. See our Cookie Policy.
How long it’s kept and how to remove it
Statistics are refreshed every day while the channel uses Channel Autopilot. You can remove Channel Autopilot’s access at any time from your Google security settings (third-party apps with account access), or by running Channel Autopilot’s disconnect command, which revokes the sign-in right away. Either way the token stops working immediately, and the stored statistics are deleted within 7 days. You can also email us at any time to have them deleted, and we’ll do it within 7 days.
Changes to this policy
If Channel Autopilot starts handling information differently, we’ll update this page and the effective date at the top.
